The East Coast's largest leather weekend, held every MLK weekend at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill. Leather market, contest, Leather Cocktails, and the legendary Reaction dance. Draws 3,000+ attendees.

Mid-Atlantic Leather (MAL) is the premier leather event on the East Coast, held annually over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. The event draws 3,000+ leatherfolk from across the country and internationally, making it the kickoff event of the leather contest season.

Getting There

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD), Ronald Reagan Washington National (DCA), and Baltimore/Washington International (BWI). DCA is closest to downtown (5 miles) and accessible via the Metro. IAD requires a Silver Line Metro train. Amtrak arrives at Union Station — walking distance or short Metro ride to Capitol Hill.
